DESCRIPTION:
France, mahogany time and strike bracket clock, with profuse cast and polished brass decorations, c1890
CONDITION:
at some time several pieces of cast brass trim got lost and were replaced with smooth brass bars to hide the holes. This is seen only from the back or side, not from the front. The elegant cast side frets are backed with red velour, Striking on a bell. Porcelain dial is very nice. Spade hands. There is a chip in the Rear crystal. Ht 17 1/2"
